We are currently seeking a UNIX System Administrator with experience on Linux RHEL platform. This is a 24x7 production operation support and on-call rotation position. This is a Contract to Hire Position: Contract rate: $45/hr-$52/hr Salary: 80k-95k DOE MUST PASS CREDIT/CRIMINAL/DRUG TESTS Required Skills: Requirements Preferred flavor=RHEL 5. RHCE 4 or RHCE 4 certification a plus And/or, professional system administration experience on UNIX. Preferred flavor=Solaris 9/Sparc platform (6+). SCSA 9 certification a plus J2EE containers knowledge & experience (jboss 4/tomcat5/jrun/WebLogic in the order of preference, 3+) common networking experience, TCP/IP, RDBMS, & SQL knowledge and experience. For RDBMS, Oracle 10g preferred. Hardware experience with HP blade centers, IBM blade centers, Dell PowerEdge. Systems Administration experience with Scripting (perl/bash). Release deployment and IT infrastructure building & improving experience. |
